Seán M. McCormack, District Attorney
District Attorney Seán McCormack was sworn in as Cumberland County District Attorney on January 3, 2022, upon the retirement of former District Attorney M.L. 'Skip' Ebert. He joined the office in March of 2020 as the Chief of the District Attorney's Trial Division. Seán brought a wealth of experience to the office after serving in the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office for 30 years. While in Dauphin County, Seán served as the Chief of the Child Abuse Prosecution Unit for close to 25 years. He received his Associates Degree from Delaware County Community College, B.A. from Villanova University and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law. He was the recipient of the 2019 Leroy Zimmerman Outstanding Dauphin County Prosecutor of the Year Award, the 2010 Outstanding Victim Service Award, the 2008 Children’s Resource Center Joseph Allegrini Children’s Hero Award, and the 1998 Samuel A. Yeagley, Jr., Memorial Award for his work in the area of child abuse prosecutions. He also appeared on the ID Discovery Channel series- The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead. He served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for 21 years holding the rank of major when he retired in 2007. Seán currently serves as the Chair of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association’s Special Victim Prosecutors Network.
Courtney Hair LaRue, First Assistant District Attorney
Courtney serves as the First Assistant District Attorney. As First Assistant District Attorney, Courtney is second in command of the District Attorney's Office. In addition to handling a full caseload, she oversees many of the office's administrative functions. Courtney joined the office as a full time Assistant District Attorney in 2016 after working as an Assistant District Attorney in both Lebanon and Adams Counties. She earned her undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College and her law degree from Widener University School of Law. Courtney is the community prosecutor for the Pennsylvania State Police and for the Mt. Holly Springs Borough Police Department.
Daniel J. Sodus, Chief Deputy District Attorney
Dan serves as Chief of Appeals. Dan joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2000 when he came from the York County Public Defender’s Office. Prior to that, Dan was in private practice in Carlisle. As Chief of the District Attorney's Appeal Unit, Dan handles for the all of the offices cases pending before Pennsylvania's appellate courts as well as any federal appeals. Dan is the community prosecutor for the Lower Allen Township, New Cumberland Borough and Shiremanstown Police Departments. Additionally, Dan is responsible for prosecutions in cases that arise from within the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill. He currently holds the distinction as the longest serving attorney in the office.
Kimberly Metzger, Chief Deputy District Attorney
Kimberly serves as the Chief of Specialty Courts. Kimberly supervises criminal cases that proceed through Accelerated Rehabilitative Distribution (ARD) Court, Opioid Intervention Court (OIC), Together Optimizing Mental Health Solutions (TOMS) Court, Drug Treatment Court, Central Court, Intermediate Punishment Court, and Electronic Monitoring Court. Kimberly joined the District Attorney’s Office in June of 2018. She began her career as a prosecutor in Monroe County, Pennsylvania in August 2012. Kimberly uses her talents to prosecute serious felony cases. Kimberly is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law (2011) and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the SUNY at Buffalo in Political Science and Spanish (2008). Originally from Buffalo, New York, she is a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills. Kimberly is the community prosecutor for Mechanicsburg Borough and Upper Allen Township Police Departments, and she assists in DUI Central Court.
Julia Skinner, Chief Deputy District Attorney
Julia serves as the Chief of the Trial Division. The trial division is the largest of the office's prosecution sections. Julia supervises the office's trial attorneys and coordinates the scheduling of the criminal trial list with court administration. Julia joined the District Attorney's Office in January 2022. Prior to joining our office, she was First Assistant District Attorney in the Northumberland County District Attorney's Office. Julia is a graduate of Purdue University and Widener University School of Law. She is the community prosecutor for the East Pennsboro Township Police Department.
Elizabeth L. Judd, Senior Deputy District Attorney
Elizabeth joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019 after spending her career in the Lebanon County District Attorney and Public Defender Offices. Liz prosecutes all Indirect Criminal Contempt and Domestic Violence cases. Liz is the community prosecutor for the Middlesex and North Middleton Police Departments.
Glenn A. Parno, Senior Assistant District Attorney
Glenn joined the District Attorney’s office in 2020 after prosecuting crimes for over 20 years at the state and county level. He graduated cum laude from Ursinus College and received his law degree from the Temple University School of Law. Glenn serves as the office's representative in Drug Treatment Court and is also responsible for all Juvenile Prosecutions.
Lauren Perchinski, Senior Assistant District Attorney
Lauren joined the District Attorney's Office in 2018. She was the lead prosecutor for all Juvenile Prosecutions. In May 2020, she transitioned into the Special Victims’ Prosecutor prosecuting sexual assault crimes and crimes against children. As part of this role, she serves on the county Child Abuse Multi-Disciplinary Investigative Team.
Jennifer A. Robinson, Senior Assistant District Attorney
Jen joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018 after working as an Assistant Counsel for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel. She earned her undergraduate degree from Penn State Harrisburg and worked at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General before attending law school. Jen graduated from Widener University School of Law in 2014. Jen is the Community Prosecutor for Silver Spring Township; Hampden Township; and the Cumberland Valley School District Police Department. She is specially assigned to handle insurance fraud cases and elder abuse matters, in conjunction with the Cumberland County Detective’s Office.
Nichole Vito, Senior Assistant District Attorney
Nichole joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018 after working as an Assistant District Attorney in both Franklin and Dauphin Counties. She is currently the community prosecutor for Carlisle Borough (the county's busiest police department) and Dickinson College Police Departments. Nichole's caseload includes some of the more serious crimes prosecuted by our office.
Daniel Tarvin, Senior Assistant District Attorney
Dan joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019 after working for five years at the State Attorney’s Office in Miami, FL. Dan is the community prosecutor for Camp Hill Borough and West Shore Regional Police Departments. In addition to handling trial cases, Dan is assigned to the Cumberland County Drug Task Force and also handles asset forfeiture matters for the office. Dan grew up in Cumberland County and is a proud alumnus of Cumberland Valley High School (2006), Penn State University (2010), and George Washington University Law School (2014).
Evan Shircliffe, Assistant District Attorney
Evan joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2021. Evan is a graduate of 'The' Shippensburg University and Widener University School of Law. Evan is the community prosecutor for the Shippensburg and Newville Police Departments.
