  1. 2024 County Budget

    - The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners placed the $308 million preliminary 2024 county budget on view at the Nov. 15 Finance Meeting. The proposed budget contains no property tax increase. View 2024 Preliminary Budget
  2. Board Opening

    - The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners is looking for individuals to serve on the Board of Assessment Appeals. The four-year term begins Jan. 1, 2024 and the members will hear and decide assessment valuation cases. Deadline to apply is Nov. 30. Additional Info & How To Apply

All of the above meetings will be held in accordance with Act 15 of 2020 through an authorized telecommunications device available to the public. Meetings are available in person or by Zoom through computer or phone. Join Zoom here, or call 1.301.715.8592 and enter meeting ID 957 8433 6350. 

The members of the boards noted above if not attending in person shall be participating by an authorized telecommunication device.  

The public may also submit written comments or questions by United States Mail mailed to: Commissioners’ Office, Room 200, Cumberland County Courthouse, One Courthouse Square, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013 or by email at All written comments submitted should identify the meeting date and time to which the comments pertain and must be received no later than 2 hours prior to the meeting.

Board of Commissioners' Meetings

The Board of Commissioners meetings take place twice each month on a Thursday at 9:30 a.m. During these meetings, the Commissioners take action on County business. See below for minutes and video recordings.

Finance Meetings

Under Pennsylvania County Code, the Board of Commissioners is responsible for implementing the County's budget, as well as overseeing contracts and expenditures. The Commissioners receive financial updates and requests during these weekly meetings held Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.
