The criminal justice system exists to benefit all the law abiding citizens of our state. Crime victims hold a special place in the system and the District Attorney's Office is committed to meeting the legitimate needs of all victims. While we can't guarantee results, we do guarantee to provide victims with the information they need to minimize the confusion often present in the system. We will notify victims of important events and ensure they have a chance to be heard. Everyone must understand however, that sometimes other considerations may outweigh a victim's personal request. Service to victims is one of our top priorities and with your help we can make the criminal justice system better for everyone.
