Meet Tweed (our faithful facility dog)

Tweed

Tweed is a Yellow Labrador Retriever who works in our Victim Services Division. Tweed came to the District Attorney’s Office through a generous donation from GIVE to Central PA, inc.   This donation was facilitated through the Cumberland County Bar Foundation. Tweed is a Facility Dog who specializes in supporting victims of crime. Tweed was raised & trained at Susquehanna Service Dogs in Granville, PA.

Tweed is a dog of few words, but his quiet presence is his strongest feature.  Most often Tweed can be found assisting victims in court by simply being by their side.  Tweed is partnered with Victim Advocate Sarah Junkins.  Together they assist victims & their families with compassion and support during the trial process.

Tweed shrugs off any praise that is directed his way and simply believes that he is doing his job just like everyone else in the District Attorney’s Office.
