Veteran Shuttle

The Cumberland County Commissioners have worked with rabbittransit to develop a Veterans Shuttle transportation service. This service provides free transportation for County Veterans to the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Those interested in the program must complete an application to determine which transportation services they are qualified to receive. Based on these qualifications, some Veterans may receive door-to-door transportation.

The shuttle will depart the Cumberland County VA Clinic, 5070 Ritter Rd., Mechanicsburg at 7 a.m. and arrive at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon at 8:45 a.m. The shuttle will then depart the Lebanon Medical Center at 12:30 p.m., arriving back in Mechanicsburg at 2:15 p.m.

The shuttle operates Monday – Friday. Reservations must be made by 1:30 p.m. the day before transportation is needed (Friday for Monday appointments). Escorts are allowed to travel with the Veteran and all shuttle vehicles are ADA accessible.

How do I schedule a ride?

Customers can schedule rides by calling 1.800.632.9063 and then press option 3 or, if already registered in our system, book a reservation online at Schedule.FindMyRide.Penndot.pa.gov using your Shared Ride ID.
