Memorial Day 2022

Cumberland County Veterans Organizations have developed a list of Memorial Day Events scheduled throughout the County. Please take some time to attend one or more of the events listed below.

​10:45am		 Memorial Day Observance Newburg . Newburg Memorial Day Committee will hold their annual Memorial Day Observance with a morning worship service at 10:45am on the Monument Green. A small memorial service will be held at the cemetery at 1:15pm. The Memorial Day parade will move through town promptly at 2pm. A twenty-one-gun salute will take place in front of the monument at the finish of the parade.

 Memorial Day Service Hampden Township Veterans Recognition Committee will hold a Memorial Day Service at the Captain Leon Lock Veterans Memorial at 11am, located in Hampden Township Veterans Park 4345 Marketplace Way, Enola.

​​​Inclement Weather: Service will be at the Hampden Township Volunteer Fire Company Station I, in the community room.

Memorial Day Parade & Picnic

Boiling Springs . Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8851 will hold their annual Memorial Day Parade & Picnic. The parade will start promptly at 1pm at the Boiling Springs High School & end at the Memorial Clock Tower at Children's Lake where a ceremony will be held. May 30 9am Memorial Day Parade & Service Carlisle . Joint Council of Carlisle will host a Memorial Day Parade beginning at 9am, followed by a service to be held at Veterans Memorial Courtyard in the Carlisle Square. Kirk Wilson​717.226.1554

Memorial Day Service

Camp Hill . American Legion Post 43 will hold a Memorial Day Parade and Service. The parade will begin at 9:30am at 19th & Market St, head west to 24th St, north to Walnut St, and east to the Camp Hill Fire Station. The service will take place behind the Fire Station.

Memorial Day  Parade & Service

Mechanicsburg .  Mechanicsburg Area Veterans Council will hold a Memorial Day Parade and Service. The parade will proceed from Filbert & Simpson St at 10am and travel to the Mechanicsburg Cemetery GAR monument on Marble St. The service will follow at the Mechanicsburg Cemetery GAR monument at 11am.                                    Inclement Weather: Service will be conducted at the VFW Post 6704, 4907 Carlisle Pike

Mechanicsburg . Vietnam Veterans of Mechanicsburg will hold a Memorial Service at 2pm at the Lincoln Colored Cemetery off Winding Hill Road in Mechanicsburg.
