The ARD/DUI Programs are considered pretrial diversion programs that are generally designed to handle cases involving first-time Driving Under the Influence (DUI) defendants charged with minor crimes. ARD for DUI is administered by the District Attorney’s Office; however, supervision is handled by the Adult Probation and Parole Department.
