The UASV and the UAS Team is the first one of its kind in Cumberland County, and will be housed at the North Middleton Township Fire Co. to provide services under a special team formed in partnership with Cumberland County, PA – Department of Public Safety and The South Central Task Force. The unit will serve not only Cumberland County, but multiple counties around the South Central area on several different types of incidents that is fire or police related. This can include incidents like Search and Rescue, Structure Fires, Wildfires, Hazmat incidents, Vehicle Accidents, Medical Emergencies, and 3D model reconstruction.
The vehicle itself holds 2 DJI Mavic M30T’s with thermal capabilities. A Volariois V-Line Pro tethering system for more prolonged incidents, a CZI spotlight/ mic system, a Sozyin drop system, and a 5000w inverter to power everything and run as a mobile command center if needed for operations.
