County Commissioners Seek Board of Assessment Appeals Members
Resumes and Letters of Interest are due Thursday, Nov. 30; Four-year term begins Jan. 1, 2024
Carlisle, PA – The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners is looking for three members to serve on the Board of Assessment Appeals in and for Cumberland County.
The Cumberland County Board of Assessment Appeals is an independent board authorized by statute and appointed by the county commissioners to primarily hear and decide assessment valuation cases.
Individuals interested in serving must be willing to serve a four-year term, beginning in January 2024, and attend appeals hearings scheduled as needed throughout the year. Members are also required to attend a Board of Assessment Appeals Certification Class within the first six months of their term.
