Cumberland County juvenile justice system gives kids a second chance. Over the past six months, WITF received unique access to the Cumberland County juvenile justice system, which operates behind closed doors due to the confidentiality involved to protect the identity of the child. Like any courtroom proceeding in the state, no cameras or audio recordings are allowed. WITF had unique access to the court process to inform the public what happens when a crime is committed as a minor.
