Cumberland County residents dealing with a financial hardship created by COVID-19 and seeking support to pay for rent and utilities can apply for assistance via the county’s website.
The county has $16.6 million in the Cumberland County Emergency Rental Assistance Program to distribute to qualified residents and households. Emergency rental funds are going to be distributed by the Cumberland County Housing Redevelopment Authority.
“We want to make sure we can assist as many residents with the funding,” said CCHRA Executive Director Mary Kuna. “This funding can be used for rent and utilities to help residents financially impacted by COVID get back on their feet.”
