Norfolk Southern will begin repair work to several railroad crossings in the Mt. Holly Springs and Shippensburg areas starting on Sunday, May 20. Crossing repair work typically takes a few days and roads will only be closed at the crossing. Detour routes will be identified for area traffic.
The roads affected by the repair work, in project order, include:
- Kellar Rd. - Mt. Holly Springs
- Chesnut Street - Mt. Holly Springs
- Mountain View Rd. - Mt. Holly Springs
- Pine Grove Rd. - Shippensburg
- Station (Long Fork) Rd. - Shippensburg
- Black Rd. - Shippensburg
- Allison Rd. - Shippensburg
- High Mountain Rd. - Shippensburg
- Strohm Rd. - Shippensburg
Each impacted school district and the County's 911 center will be called before each road is closed.
