CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) - More than 150 drug dealers have been arrested since July 2017 through a partnership between the Cumberland County Drug Task Force and the Carlisle Police Department.The team decided to beef up their manpower last year by adding seven full-time officers. They're hoping to add more. "It could be months long before you see results, but you really need to have enough manpower," Carlisle police Sgt. Daniel Freedman said. Last month, 26 dealers were arrested for selling primarily heroin, a drug that's causing serious issues in the county. "We look at the investigation from an intellectual point of view and see where we can make the biggest impact; not just grabbing somebody off the street for show," Chief Kenny Hassinger of the Cumberland County Drug Task Force said.
