The Pennsylvania Local Option Small Games of Chance Act
Organizations that wish to conduct small games of chance, permitted under the Small Games of Chance Act, must be licensed in the county of in which the game is conducted or the drawing is held.
Small Games of Chance licenses are issued through a County Treasurer’s Office. Each eligible organization must complete and submit an Eligible Organization Games of Chance Application to the county in which the game is to be conducted or the drawing held.

License Type
| Price | Description |
|---|
Regular License | $125 | Annual license that runs for one year from the date of issuance. |
Monthly License | $25 | License that is valid for thirty consecutive days. Any game of chance must begin and end within the 30 day period. |
Special Raffle Permit | $25 | Available to regular and monthly license holders. This permit allows organizations to conduct a raffle that exceeds the normal prize limit applicable to Small Games of Chance. Prize excess of $2000. |
