Inpatient services include intensive counseling, educational support, and group treatment activities within residential, therapeutic facilities. These services require that the client reside at an inpatient center in order to receive effective treatment of advanced alcohol and other drug problems.
A length of stay for inpatient care may range from 14 to 90 days, depending upon individual client needs. Continuing care at the outpatient level will follow the recommendations of the inpatient facility.
