Our Bureau of Elections opens at 7 a.m. and accepts hand delivered mail-in and absentee ballots until 8 p.m.

Results are not published until after the polls close at 8 p.m.
At 8 p.m., all Cumberland County polling places close, and the Bureau of Elections stops accepting mail-in and absentee ballots.
Results from the polls are delivered to the Bureau of Elections and tabulated.
Counting (canvassing) of mail-in and absentee ballots begins and continues until every valid ballot is counted.
Unofficial election results are posted on the website after the count is completed.
