Adult Probation staff located at the Historic Jail includes officers in the Day Reporting Center, Treatment Court, ARD/DUI, DUI/Restrictive Probation, and General Supervision units, in addition to the Reentry Coordinator, administrative and support staff.
Directions to Main Courthouse
Take Exit #47/Hanover Street. Turn left on South Hanover St./PA-34 toward Carlisle. The Courthouse is on the right at the square.
Take Exit #49/PA-641. Turn right on Trindle Rd./PA-641 toward Carlisle. The Courthouse is on the left at the square.
Take Exit #226/US-11 S. Turn slight right onto US-11/Harrisburg Pike toward Carlisle. US-11 merges into South Hanover St./PA-34. Follow South Hanover St. to square in Carlisle. The Courthouse is on your left.
Follow High St./PA-641 toward Carlisle. The Courthouse is across the square on the right.
Carlisle's Downtown Easy Park Program offers many convenient parking options within walking distance of the Courthouse and Adult Probation offices. A Carlisle Parking Quad map and Google map with Carlisle parking and highlights can be located on the Carlisle Borough website.
Meters: There is metered parking for approximately 2 blocks around the Courthouse. Gray meters have a 2 hour time limit. Gold meters allow parking for up to 10 hours.
Paid Parking: Visitors not wishing to use meters can pay to park at the Pomfret Street Parking Garage. If you are heading North on Hanover Street, turn left on Pomfret Street. The garage entrance is on the right. If heading South on Hanover Street, go through the square. At the next traffic signal, turn right onto Pomfret Street. Garage entrance is on your right.
